*Target Ovarian Cancer ‘Identifying and breaking down barriers to early diagnosis of ovarian cancer’
Earlier detection for improved survival
Ovarian cancer remains one of the most challenging cancers to detect early, with two out of three women diagnosed at a late stage (III or IV). One in five patients dies within just three months of diagnosis. Yet, when caught early, survival outcomes dramatically improve—Stage I diagnosis increases 5-year survival to over 90%.
Dxcover’s technology aims to shift diagnosis earlier in the disease course, providing a cost-effective solution to reduce late-stage detection and improve patient outcomes.
Challenges in Current Diagnosis
Current screening relies on symptom-driven testing and the CA 125 blood test, followed by imaging and surgical confirmation. However, CA 125 has limited specificity and is more commonly used for monitoring after diagnosis, as levels can be elevated by benign conditions.
There is also significant geographic variation in early-stage diagnosis, leading to disparities in outcomes.
A more sensitive and specific diagnostic tool could help standardize care pathways, triage high-risk patients more effectively, and reduce time-to- diagnosis across populations.
Why Dxcover?
Dxcover is focused on enabling earlier detection in women at elevated risk of ovarian cancer, where early diagnosis can significantly improve survival.
Our test is designed to complement or replace CA 125, offering earlier detection from a simple blood sample. Dxcover is targeting ovarian cancer due to the urgent need for earlier, more democratizable detection in high-risk groups. Our multiomic platform is designed to deliver non-invasive and rapid turnaround liquid biopsy for early disease signals
